The Prison Prep Program is a one-on-one coaching program, in person or by phone. Bill Kane works with each person and their family members to educate them about the prison experience.
It is much easier to face the situation when you know what to expect and how to react to specific situations and particular circumstances. Getting off on the right foot cannot be over emphasized when confronted with many uncertainties and compounded by dealing with other inmates who have been incarcerated for years. On-the-job training is not a good thing when referencing a prison environment.
The Prison Prep Program helps a person to avoid mistakes and understand how to make the transition of incarceration and maintain a person's best mental and physical health.
Substance Abuse - alcohol or drug abuse, or a combination of both, is often a problem for people who have gotten to the point of facing a prison sentence.
Bill Kane works with people who are dealing with substance abuse before they are incarcerated, helping them transition the old lifestyle with one that they will have to face in prison. This includes programs that are available to people during their prison terms and also once they are released. The possibility to make poor choices is ever present and preparation to make the right choice every time comes from new coping skills and support.
A person does not have to be facing prison before contacting Bill Kane and the involvement of his coaching program. While being an addict and not facing prison is a very serious concern, it does provide the client and their family the opportunity to possibly avoid the heart wrenching situation of incarceration.
