"As with most people, I never thought I would ever need to know information to prepare either me or my family for time spent in prison. The idea that all people sentenced to prison are hardened criminals with an innate ability to live in that environment is far from true. Many normally “good” people who have made mistakes or exercised bad judgment must do time for these actions, but that should not preclude them from the opportunity do their time in the most productive manner possible.  When my all American boy, who had never been in trouble before, was looking at serious time as consequences for an unintended, yet very devastating and tragic decision - I looked for people who could counsel and inform us. Someone who could help us survive the prison experience.

Unfortunately, PrisonPrep.com was not around at that time, so finding answers were not readily available. I had no personal experience; everything facing us was completely foreign for me and no where to turn for help.

I have since met and come to know Bill Kane.  He too was a good man with a career in helping his community and due to circumstances and the consequences he not only survived the prison experience but utilized that experience to return him to the man who wants to add value to the world.
